Research

The aim of the veterinary research conducted is threefold:

1) to contribute to conservation science using the privileged access the vet team have to numerous wildlife species, enabling them to build a biobank for threatened species as well as establish healthy reference ranges for blood parameters;

2) review recent publications, gather data and communicate with other wildlife professionals in order to trickle the latest scientific findings down to the vets on the ground

3) to continuously challenge our best practice and evaluate anaesthetic protocols using the latest diagnostic machines donated by international NGOs.
